Day Training

Implementing Day Training along with other training programs can be a valuable part of helping you and your dog reach your goals. It is most often used to work on socialization for dog-on-dog reactivity/aggression, but can be used for other training goals as well. Day Training gives you the benefits of having some training done directly by a professional trainer, without the financial commitment of a full board and train.

How it Works:

Day training is available on Wednesdays. Dogs get dropped off in the morning, usually between 7:00-9:00am. They board with us for the day, and get picked up in the afternoon/evening, usually between 4:00-6:00pm.

While they are with us, they receive training sessions throughout the day. Each training session is roughly 20-30 minutes long. Specific goals for the training sessions must be outlined when the day training is booked.

Owners can choose between 1 - 3 training sessions per day.

Pricing:

Day training is not available unless done in conjunction with other training programs - usually private lessons.

One full day of day training (3 sessions) is equivalent cost to 1 private lesson. As a result, a Private Lesson package can be purchased, and lessons can be exchanged for days of day training.

Package of 3: $425

Consultation + either 2 days of day training followed by 1 lesson, or one day of day training followed by 2 lessons

Package of 6: $675

Consultation + any combination of 6 full day training days or 1-hour private lessons.

Package of 10: $1,000

Consultation + any combination of 10 full day training days or 1-hour private lessons.

Day training for follow-up / maintenance after a training program, or when day training is added to a lesson package rather than exchanging lessons.

1 training session: $50

2 training sessions: $70

3 training sessions (“full day”): $90
